Werden unsere Muskeln und Knochen nicht mehr beansprucht, so haben die Knochen keinen Grund, sich weiter aufzubauen und ihre Funktion zu erhalten. Der Abbau beginnt bereits ab dem 30. Lebensjahr, daher ist es wichtig dem entgegenzuwirken. &#8230;aber wie?<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>An dem Sprichwort \u201eWer rastet, der rostet\u201c ist durchaus etwas dran.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wir sitzen viel und bewegen uns meistens zu wenig. Mit der Zeit wird dadurch Knochenmasse abgebaut. Regelm\u00e4\u00dfiges Training hingegen st\u00e4rkt nicht nur die Muskeln, sondern auch die Knochen. Knochenaufbauende Zellen werden durch die verursachten Zug- und Druckkr\u00e4fte beim Sport angeregt. Die Knochen bekommen das Signal, dass sie gebraucht werden und eine gewissen Stabilit\u00e4t ben\u00f6tigt wird. Im Alter erkranken immer mehr Menschen an Osteoporose. Vor allem Frauen sind gef\u00e4hrdet. Durch regelm\u00e4\u00dfiges Training kann Osteoporose vorgebeugt werden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Reize auf Knochen und Muskeln wirken sich positiv auf den Abbau der Knochensubstanz aus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Osteoporose ist eine Skeletterkrankung, die einem vermehrten Knochenabbau zugrunde liegt und h\u00e4ufig im fortgeschrittenen Alter auftritt. Aufgrund des sinkenden Hormonspiegels (\u00d6strogen) sind dabei Frauen nach den Wechseljahren besonders betroffen. Durch die Abnahme der Knochenmasse ver\u00e4ndert sich das Knochengewebe und die Knochen werden por\u00f6s und br\u00fcchig. Der Knochen verliert an Festigkeit und Stabilit\u00e4t.
